An illustration for another book cover, this one is based on the short story by Annie Proulx titled "The Blood Bay".

Theatre Poster

This is a poster advertising an upcoming performance of Sydney Pollack's "They Shoot Horses Don't They". The story of the production is based on a dance marathon that goes on for several months and the people slowly start getting treated like animals. My poster is based on a lunar cycle to show the length of time the dance goes on for and then I took apart a disco ball and photographed it to create a spinning effect to act as the moon.

Barcelona Project

These images were taken for a Barcelona based project. My project was a photography based diary based on the music I listened to on the journey. The lyrics in the songs I heard created the concept for each photo and the colours represented the tone of the song.

This is a Lino Print I created for a Penguin book.

Hypochondriac Imagery

Theses images were produced for a project on hypochondria. I had to create imagery that suggested what hypochondriacs do and what they may carry with them. I created a colour coded system for medicines to be taken on specific days for specific illnesses. I used the scanner again for this as it gave a medical effect to the images scanned in colour.

Design Intervention

These images were for a project on 'out of place' design. I had to capture something out of the ordinary with a strong concept behind it. I chose to look at music in my research and through my reading I found that music can help older people remember things from when they were young. This is especially common for people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I chose to work with this idea and decided to photograph an older woman playing ping pong as if she was young again. In all the pictures I used some modern headphones to suggest she was reminiscing. This is also aided by the fact that she is not looking directly into the camera as if she is distracted by her thoughts. The old style of the wallpaper, dart board and books all help this image capture the feeling of remembering when you were young.
